BluesNavajo

Levi Platero is from the Navajo Nation within the Southwest of the United States, with his family band "The Plateros" they emerge on the music scene in 2004 as a blues rock power trio with a sound that drew those who followed the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Los Lonely Boys and ZZ Top, after a decade of touring the US with his family band and a year run as a member of Indigenous ( Lakota Blues Rock Band )he decided in the summer of 2016 it was time to get back to his own music, with out his cousins he decided to drop the name of the Plateros, and rename the band using his own name, he recruited new members (band) and launch a string of shows, recorded and released a self titled album in the fall of 2016, from the single cut off the new album "Take Me Back" won the 2016 New Mexico Music Awards for Best Blues, with a new sound, new material, new members, Levi and his band hit the road and gain a quick respect as a solid jam band.

Levi Platero is a great example of a guitar player with a gift who has the guitar playing intuition of much a experienced player. His quiet nature is unleashed in a style that mixes Texas Blues, vintage rock, to modern guitar heroes such as Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. His live shows with his band captivate with flurries of guitar acrobatics, tight solid rhythm all the way down to soulful expressiveness. He is a player to be reckoned with as he continues to grow.
