The Thunder Mountain Singers are international recording music artists and award winning musicians from the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Over the past 25 years, Thunder Mountain Singers have traveled throughout North America and recorded several albums. They are Canadian Aboriginal Music Award nominees, Native American Music Award nominees, and Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Award winners.

Their members originate from Northern Ontario First Nation territories, Anishinawbek Nation 1850 Treaty Territory, Nishnawbe Aski Nation Treaty 9 Territory, and Anishinaabe Nation Treaty 3 Territory. They are Ojibway, Saulteaux Ojibway, and Oji-Cree.

They received their drum name from the late, Margaret Pierre, from Fort William First Nation. Through the guidance and support of elders: Dr. Richard Lyons, Alex Skead, Roy Napish, Jim Windego, and many others to help share the stories, songs, and cultural teachings of the area. Singing groups that influenced them were the Thunder Bay Singers, Lake of the Woods, Red Nation Singers, Porcupine Singers, Badlands Singers, Blacklodge Singers, and Eagle Tail Singers. Many elders, mentors, groups, organizations, and families guided them and provided them with the opportunity to experience, learn and lead to become the Thunder Mountain Singers. They are forever grateful for all their supporters, families, and friends they have made throughout the years.
