Young Sprit was formed in the summer of 2001 at a Pow-Wow in Hobbema, Alberta. This group of friends wished to represent their Western Canadian Plans Cree culture and be a proud voice for all First Nations and Native American people. The meaning of their songs runs deep, encouraging Native peoples to draw upon their culture for strength.
