CountryCreeMetis

Firestone is not your everyday Indigenous country group.
With members hailing from across First Nation bands and Metis settlements across northern Alberta, they are quickly turning heads and grabbing ears abroad with their blend of modern and traditional Country music.
While the band was formed in 2016 , they are consistantly tearing up the country scene with performances booked solid in various communities and have shared the stage with legends such as Ernest Monias and Don Burnstick.
In this short time, they have delivered a distinct sound of their own, and their first single, Country Boys, went to #3 on the Indigenous Music Countdown.
2017 was a milestone year for the band as their song "Be my babe tonight" went to 1 million you tube views and was most requested song on MBC network.
Firestone has been steadily booked for sold out shows throughout the prairies along with becoming a a mainstay in Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
They traveled to Nashville, TN, where they are recorded material at New Sun Productions with Juno award nominee, Crystal Shawanda.
Their new project will also feature accompanying vocals from Georgette Jones , daughter of the late country legend, George Jones. Excitement and anticipation grows with what is to come for these talented musicians.
