Nimuk

1 Nomination

FolkPopRockInnu

Nimuk is one of the best native entertainers in the Province of Quebec. In comparison to other singers and/or groups, he does everything on stage. He doesn't need anybody to introduce himself as he can do it on his own, he makes his audience laughs with all the jokes he has and not only he's a good singer, moreover he has such a massive presence on stage.

Nimuk has two albums of his own, one full album and on EP, that he put out in the last few years. Nimuk shared the stage with many other singers in his 20 years career such as Claude McKenzie and Florent Vollant from Kashtin. He traveled in most of the First Nations communities in the Province of Quebec. Lately, he did an album of covers from the artists that inspired him throughout his career; not only in Innu but also in Cree and Attikamek. In his debut, he had the chance to go on stage at the Montreal's Olympic Stadium during an event created for youth called Salon Pepsi Jeunesse. Now, Nimuk wants to travel further than the Province of Quebec and would like to share his passion for music and his culture in the Rest of Canada.
