Native Waves Radio host Janet Rogers is part of the CFUVfm radio family since January 31st 2007. With ten years of Indigenous radio producing under her belt she has created a six-part radio documentary series titled NDNs on the Airwaves chronicling our collective and current history with native radio. Episodes include "Native Radio What is it?" "Indigenous Newsmakers" "Podcasts and Webcasts" "Six Nations Musicians" "Indigenous Radio Northwest Territories" and a live recording of the Indigenous Radio Panel from the 2015 imagineNATIVE Film and Media Festival.

Janet Rogers is Mohawk/Tuscarora from the Six Nations territory living as a guest and visitor on traditional Coast Salish territory in Victoria British Columbia. She is a poet and also produces audio poetry and sound art.
