Since Nathan ‘Doggface’ Apodaca skateboarded his way into the world’s heart with Fleetwood Mac and cranberry juice, the Indigenous community has been looking for its next 30-second breakout star.
TIkTok Rock Out provides our community the opportunity to create a TikTok video with an Indigenous artist’s song as the backdrop.
This fun and interactive video competition provided people with the opportunity to record a short TikTok video featuring 60 seconds of one of the following songs:
- Ernest Monias - If I Wanted You Girl #IMArockoutgirl
- Keith Secola - NDN Kar #IMAndnkar
- Eagle and Hawk - Sundancer #IMAsundancer
- Buffy Sainte Marie - Starwalker #IMAstarwalker
- Susan Aglukark - O’Siem #IMAosiem
